At JUELL we are often asked "What is the best white paint color?"

Here are 5 great white paints we think work well in every home.

1 BENJAMIN CHANTILLY LACE

This shade of white is quite a pure white. If you're looking for a bright white with minimal undertones, this is a great choice!

2 BENJAMIN MOORE SWISS COFFEE

Warm and welcoming, it's a great option for more traditional spaces and plays well with other creamy tones and golden hues.

3 BENJAMIN MOORE SIMPLY WHITE

A bit of a chameleon, this white looks warm when paired with warm tones and cool when paired with cool tones.

4 BENJAMIN MOORE WHITE DOVE

White Dove has creamy grey undertones. While not a true white, it still has a soft calming effect without looking yellow. This is a great choice in spaces with lots of natural light.

5 SHERWIN WILLIAMS WHITE FLOUR

This white has brown undertones, however in bright naturally lit spaces, it reflects a clean, creamy white.

A great shade for open-concept living or studio apartments to create a minimal yet warm look.

6 FARROW AND BALL SHADED WHITE

Appearing cool true white in sunny rooms, and cool slightly greenish gray in darker spaces, A great white for adding drama to a room.

JUELL's White Paint Tips

If you tend to like a clean, modern aesthetic, choose a crisp, soft white.

If you lean a bit more traditional, try a soft, warm white.

Choose a warm white for a room with northern exposure to counterbalance its cool grey tones.

In rooms with little natural light, whites will appear grey-is regardless of the white used. However, choosing a "warm white" will help to balance this effect.

Try it Out

Paint large swatches on card stock, then hold them up to different wall in different lights, Be sure to test different times day as well.

What Sheen Should I Use

Walls          Typically  Flat or Eggshell. The Eggshell sheen is generally a go to for families because its                                                   easier to clean without being too shiny.

Ceiling         Typically Flat

Baseboards  Satin  or Semi-Gloss

Cabinets        Typically Satin finish

Remember that shine bounces light and is easy to clean but highlight imperfections. Try to strike a balance between  the condition of your walls and the sheen you choose.
